Car park GPS: 43.6111, 2.399
This out-and-back walk will take you in the footsteps of the old peiraires (stone-cutters) workshops in the typical undergrowth of the Sidobre.
After the large granite cross, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Montagne Noire.
It’s also an ideal spot for birdwatching, like kestrels and goldfinches.
To make the most of this very special viewpoint for birdwatching without disturbing the birds, you are advised to bring a pair of binoculars. Mornings and late afternoons are the best times for birdwatching.
Remember to turn back after the viewpoint, as this walk takes in part of the Ronda del Peiraire route.
