Gite located at the end of the road, in a small traditional hamlet of the Tarnese mountain composed of a dozen souls, 600m above sea level. The cottage is an old stone barn restored, independent, surrounded by a screen of greenery and calm. This old barn dates back about two centuries. The frame is of origin with its beams and its poultry in chestnut, the walls, although returned, are of origin also. The roof at the time was lower, it was based on the lip where are placed the beams of the current mezzanine. Under the barn was the stable. Ground floor: living room with a beautiful little open kitchen fully equipped, sofa bed, wood stove. Upstairs (step by step staircase): two cozy country-style rooms, pretty bathroom with shower and toilet. Wood heating + convectors in the bedrooms and bathroom. Sheets and towels provided, possibility of cleaning service end of stay. In the near surroundings: the lake of Merle and its floating stones, Brassac, Burlats, but also a little further away Albi and its Episcopal City classified with the Patrimony of Humanity, Cordes-sur-ciel, the Black Mountain, etc … Ideal for lovers of nature and calm. Many walks in the vicinity, or donkey with your host. Picking mushrooms and chestnuts. you can also discover the fabulous River Agout with its bowls where you can jump, dive, swim and sunbathe.
