A charming village

On one side, the Agout river and its wooded landscape, waterfalls and rivers, a meeting place for nature lovers, anglers, kayakers and lovers of riverside walks.
On the other side, Burlats and its history, Adam’s house, the Collegiate Church, and the Bistoure Tower… Poetry and legends inhabit these places, and Countess Adélaïde is no stranger to them. You’ll be in for more surprises…

Adélaïde and her Pavilion
You’ll fall under the spell of this place steeped in history and poetry. Adélaïde, the violet-eyed countess and daughter of Raymond V, Count of Toulouse, is said to have held a court of love here. Troubadour Arnaud de Mareuil was madly in love with her, and was one of the rare troubadours to have loved and sung only one lady. The medieval era was a sumptuous one for this village, and you’ll be able to appreciate this architectural masterpiece. Don’t be frightened by the ghosts of this estate, they are very welcoming.
